Easy Installation
VALT® Pro garage floor tiles are designed for tool-free, no-adhesive installation. No specialist knowledge or contractor required. A standard single garage (around 18m²) installs comfortably in under 60 minutes.
- Sweep and degrease the concrete. The floor should be dry and reasonably level.
- Plan your layout, starting from the centre or a fixed wall and working outward. Leave a 15-20mm expansion gap at walls.
- Click tiles together, aligning the interlocking edges and pressing firmly. A rubber mallet helps seat tiles fully.
- Cut perimeter tiles using a jigsaw or circular saw with a fine-tooth blade.
- Finish with edge ramp sections (available separately) for a neat, trip-hazard-free border.
Because tiles are loose-laid without adhesive, individual tiles can be lifted for access or replaced if damaged without disturbing the whole floor.

At 500mm x 500mm x 14mm, each tile is twice the thickness of standard 7mm garage floor tiles, built for genuine load performance, a sharp finished look, and tool-free installation on any hard substrate.
Can you cut VALT Pro tiles?
Yes. VALT Pro cuts cleanly with a jigsaw or circular saw with a fine-tooth blade. Mark your cut line and cut face-up for the neatest finish. Offcuts can be used elsewhere in the layout so there is very little waste.

Are VALT Pro tiles resistant to oil, petrol, and chemicals?
Yes. The recycled PP and PVC blend is impervious to engine oil, brake fluid, antifreeze, petrol, diesel, and most workshop solvents. Spills wipe clean. For stubborn marks, a citrus-based degreaser does the job.
Note: prolonged contact with rubber tyres can cause minor surface discolouration due to 6PPD in tyre compounds. This is an industry-wide issue and does not affect tile performance. It is far less visible on darker colours.
How do I clean and maintain VALT Pro tiles?
Sweep or vacuum to remove loose debris, then damp mop with a neutral pH floor cleaner. Blot oil and fuel spills immediately and clean with a citrus degreaser. Individual tiles can be lifted and pressure-washed for a deep clean. Maintenance really is that simple.
How many VALT Pro tiles do I need?
Each tile covers 0.25m2 (500mm x 500mm), so you need 4 tiles per square metre. Measure your garage length and width in metres, multiply them together, then multiply by 4. Add 5-10% for cuts and waste.
Tiles are sold individually and in boxes of 12 covering 3m2.
Are VALT Pro tiles suitable for outdoor use?
VALT Pro is designed primarily for indoor and covered spaces: garages, workshops, and commercial units. The tiles are temperature stable between -20°C and +60°C so cold UK winters are no problem. For areas with sustained direct sunlight or full weather exposure, get in touch and we can advise.
Are VALT Pro tiles really made from 100% recycled plastic?
Yes. Every tile is manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled polypropylene and PVC. IBRAN was founded specifically to create high-performance products from waste plastic, permanently capturing material that would otherwise go to landfill. Each square metre of VALT Pro floor locks in approximately 12kg of recycled plastic. At end of life, tiles can be returned to IBRAN for recycling.
How does VALT Pro compare to rubber matting for garages?
Rubber mats shift, curl at the edges, trap debris, and rarely look great after the first few months. VALT Pro's 14mm interlocking construction creates a unified, stable floor that stays put under vehicle loads and looks sharp for years. Chemical resistance is significantly better than most rubber products, and the tight interlock means no debris traps. It is not a close comparison.
